INCREASE OF TERMINAL HANDLING CHARGES (THC)
Dear Customer,
As a consequence of the increase in the handling costs as of January 2012 which has been announced by the Israeli Government when introducing the reform in the Israeli Ports and with the implementation of the new port tariff in October 2010, Hamburg Süd has reluctantly decided to adjust the THC in Ashdod and Haifa.
This decision has been taken in order to recover the additional costs for the line.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused to yourselves/your principals due to this necessary action.
The new Terminal Handling Charge (THC) for all inbound and outbound shipments are as follows:
Dry Containers:
US$ 195 / 20ft Dry containers
US$ 300 / 40ft Dry containers
Reefer Containers
US$ 245 / 20fr RF
US$ 385 / 40ft RF/RH
These adjusted levels will become effective as of February, 12
